Since 1945 New England Cabinetry, formerly Pinelyne has built a strong and solid reputation based on unsurpassed craftmanship, outstanding customer service and an honest day's work.

When Fenton Weir and his family moved to Windham in the early 1950's, they started Pinelyne Furniture at their home on Route 302 in North Windham. It didn't take long for Pinelyne Furniture to become well known for its quality, classic lines, and Maine-made style. The enduring quality of pine, and the craftsmanship for which Maine is known, contributed to a successful business over the next half century.

In the 1960s, the business was purchased by Henry Valente, and today, Henry's son Ernie continues the tradition begun decades ago. Henry started with just four employees and today Ernie has over two dozen.

New England Cabinetry continues to build handcrafted furniture using a variety of soft and hardwood species, custom colors and finishes. Our manufacturing has expanded to include custom residential built-in cabinetry and kitchen cabinets. Today, New England Cabinetry is also well known throughout the United States and Europe for its custom-made display fixtures appearing in a variety of retail stores. New England Cabinetry enters the new century with tradition that endures: quality, craftsmanship, value and service.
